How to get advice from an adviser
Anyone can go to their GP or any other clinical or support work and ask to be referred to a SOHAS adviser, if there is a SOHAS adviser in your surgery, you can ask the surgery to book you in for occupational health advice.
If you don’t have an adviser present in your surgery, you can ring us on 0114 275 5760 or scroll to the bottom of this page and fill in the contact form.
Any information you send to us goes to a secure email address. Once you press the submit button your message is deleted from the website.
The adviser can contact your employer with your permission on your behalf if you think that would be beneficial.
How does the service work?
An advice session with a SOHAS adviser lasts for 45 minutes and is completely confidential. The adviser will ask you to tell them about the issues you are facing and give you practical advice and help that you can use to keep you at work or return you back to work if you are off sick. The adviser can contact your employer on your behalf if you think that would be beneficial.
If you need more help and support from the adviser, please get in touch by emailing them directly or ringing 0114 275 5760 and leave a message for them.
